Surgical steel 00g captive bead ring. This 316L CBR is measured by the internal diameter of the ring. These rings have a snap fit ball which is easily removed and inserted.

Good quality. The ball is really hard to get out. You definitely don't have to worry about losing it.

Squeaky and loose
I really was looking forward to this jewelry when I ordered it. Unfortunately it is not a spring assisted ball in which I had assumed. It speaks terribly from day 1. The ball has to be forced into place, but spins freely. It hasn't popped out of the socket yet, but it is nearing the time. I frequently take this ring out to clean my piercing and sanitize the jewelry. The inside piece that presses against the ball has worn down significantly.

This is the second captured ball ring I have purchased and am totally satisfied. Great materials, quality workmenship. great weight and no problems with the ball slipping out. I love it.
