Surgical steel 6g segment captive ring. This 316L segment captive ring is measured by the internal diameter of the ring. The segment is best removed using ring opening pliers.

I got this for my PA. I've had no real problems with it. The metal is not completely flush, but not enough to cause any issue. It rotates just fine and doesn't catch. I have noticed peeing is more difficult with this style jewelry VS a curved barbell. The bead on the barbell would keep pressure on the hole and prevent backfire. Other than that a good profuct and does the job it needs. Looks good as well.
